Well, we all know it freaking sucks!!! With your family or your boyfriend it’s not so bad, you ask for allergy guide and it’s easy, but when it’s a few people or a lot of people and sometimes the restaurant doesn’t have a guide, it’s scary.
1. We all hate to be that annoying person with all the allergies.
2. You are starving but are too scared to even eat the salads.
3. You really wanna know what the hell you can eat.
You have to be careful, last night I went out to my favorite restaurant with my boyfriend and his brother, mind you I haven’t been there in a long long time because well it’s crazy expensive but also all you can eat buffet style and I knew they didn’t have a guide. It was the Copa Cabanna in Niagara Falls, it’s a Brazilian Steakhouse, I figured I would just get some cheese and veggies and if I felt ill or was unsure of anything I would stop, the rest I ate was just meat from the stakes and pineapple, I did pretty good, I was full by the end and I had no complaints… I was pretty proud, I wasn’t even bloated… I ate slowly just to be sure if I felt any gluten related sickness and today I woke up and I feel fine, just a tad hungry ;).
I find sushi is good to eat out if you are scared to go anywhere which doesn’t have a guide as long as you get nothing tempura related, you are fine make sure anyone else at the table doesn’t get anything tempura so there is no cross-contamination when they make the rolls.
Eating out is scary but sometimes you gotta risk it to get the biscuit or in this case the gluten free biscuit.
